The 'ScanMate Soft Retractor Black' from Armor Dental is used for soft tissue retraction during intraoral scans, clinical inspections, and treatments where good visibility in the mouth is essential. The ScanMate creates space quickly and in a controlled manner, without unnecessarily stressing the patient. The neck of this instrument can be bent into the desired position.

It can be used for intraoral scans, orthodontic check-ups, dental examinations and observation of oral functions in both children and adults.

The ScanMate is autoclavable and therefore reusable.
Autoclaving instructions:

• 5 minutes at 134 °C or 20 minutes at 121 °C.
• Never warmer than 136 °C.

After approximately 30 autoclaves, wear will begin to occur and replacement is recommended.
